Canadian Avalanche Center Sponsorship Announcement

All of us at Yamnuska Mountain Adventures are proud to announce that we have committed sponsorship funds to the Canadian Avalanche Center Public Safety Programs as a ‘Supporting Sponsor’. This significant sponsorship recognizes our support and commitment to the CAC and the Canadian Avalanche Association. As an approved Avalanche Skills Training provider, we train our students to read and interpret the public safety bulletins. In other words, we are a heavy user of the avalanche bulletins and we want to financially support this invaluable public safety tool.

Through our sponsorship, we committed training resources via our professional member guides to the Youth Avalanche Education Programs. Yamnuska is in a great position to assist the CAC with educating this potentially high risk group via classroom training from our certified mountain guides and we are excited to be part of this innovative initiative.

Our sponsorship period begins August 31, 2011 for a one year period.
