Last week saw some of the coldest temperatures on record for mid-October in the Rockies! The flash freeze that descended on the mountains made conditions perfect for Ice formation and allowed some of our guides to get out and grab a taste of some early season mixed and waterfall Ice Climbing. Many of the more shadowed locations will most likely keep the ice formed into the winter season and so it’s a great time to come out and swing your tools on some pristine ice in the beautiful Rockies! We’ve also still got our Rock Climbing programs offered when the weather and temperatures cooperate. Only in the Bow Valley can you get out for some sunny rock climbing and shaded Ice climbing in the same week!
